We are participating in a program that not only helps our shepherds, it is also great for the environment. 

There are millions of inkjet and laser printer cartrides being thrown away each year.  We are recycling used cartridges along will cell phones (working or not) to help provide funds for veterinary expenses, medications, food, treats, toys and to help expand our rescue capacity.

There are over 250 different injet cartridges on the market today.  We can recycle most of them, however, there are a few that we cannot use.  A general rule is that recyclable ink jet cartridges usually have some type of copper strip or electronic circuitry visible on them. 

Please see the list of acceptable ink jet cartridges and acceptable laser cartridges. We can not accept any cartridge made for or by Epson injet printers.    We have created a list of unacceptable cartridges.
